This privacy policy describes how we treat personal information and the use of cookies within the website www.insurtechintelligence.com by Jerzy Kurgan, Warszawa (02-662), Swieradowska 47 Street, Poland. Insurtech Intelligence is a service that legally runs under Jerzy Kurgan Company.

§ 1

Definitions

For the purposes of this privacy policy, the following definitions of the terms are used herein:

  2. The Website – the website operating at www.insurtechintelligence.com,
  3. The User – a natural person who views or browses the content of the Website.

§ 2

Personal data

  1. From the Website level, the User can:
    1. Read about the Administrator and services provided by the Administrator,
    2. Buy digital publications provided by the Administrator,
    3. Subscribe to newsletters,
    4. Contact the Administrator

    To do this, the User must complete the order form, giving their personal details, i.e. name, surname, their e-mail address.

  2. The Administrator of personal information of the User, within the meaning of the Act of 29 August 1997 On Personal Data Protection (Dz.U. 1997 No. 133, item 883) is the Administrator.
  3. Providing personal data by the User is voluntary but necessary to subscribe to the newsletter, buy the publications or to contact with the Administrator.
  4. The Administrator shall guarantee the confidentiality of any personal data made available to him.
  5. Personal data is collected with due diligence and adequately protected against access by unauthorized persons and their processing is carried out in accordance with and subject to the conditions set out in detail in:
    1. the Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of electronic services (Dz. U. 2013 item 1422),
    2. the Act of 29 August 1997 on Personal Data Protection (Dz.U. 2014. item 1182),
    3. the Regulation of the Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration of 29 April 2004 on the documentation of personal data processing, and technical and organizational conditions which shall be fulfilled by devices and IT systems used for personal data processing (Dz.U. 1024).
  6. The User has rights defined in the legislation referred to in 3 above, including in particular:
    1. access to their personal data,
    2. request to supplement, update, or correct their personal data, temporarily or permanently suspend the processing or remove the data if they are incomplete, outdated, untrue or collected in violation of the law or are no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were collected.

§ 3

Cookies

  1. The Administrator uses cookies, i.e. small pieces of text information stored on the User’s terminal device (e.g. computer, tablet, smartphone). Cookies can be read by the Administrator’s IT system.
  2. The Administrator stores cookies on the User terminal device, and then accesses the information contained therein for statistical purposes, to track the actions taken by the User within the Website, for the purpose of re-marketing activities, and to ensure the proper functioning of the Website.
  3. The Administrator informs the User that the web browser can be configured in the way that prevents cookies from being stored on the User’s terminal. In such a situation, using the Service might be more difficult for the User.
